The Extended Tab Prefold has wings that allow for a better fit on your baby.  You will find you can use just a single pin instead of two.  It also allows you to use the same size for longer since your baby’s belly will grow faster than his rise.  You can also use a snappi on this material as well.

This is a special size and version of the Extended tab prefold and does not have an outer knit print.  It is a simple construction of  2 layers of bamboo fleece with a 3rd layer in the soaker zone.  This layer is stitched down for durability in between the two outer layers. 

Preemie Size will fit from 3.5lbs up to 9 lbs. Measurements are width 8″, length 9.5″, tabs 12″.

Here is a step by step for you. This is a premium size ultra prefold on an 18lb 6 month old.

1. Fold front half in thirds and leave wings open

2. Put baby on diaper with fold right below baby’s butt to form poop pocket

3. Pull diaper up between baby’s legs

4. Fold down rise if needed

5. If you fold tab over now it will create board short look or be too loose

6. Instead, fold tab back and pull upwards to tighten

7. Now let go of tab and it will have a dog ear shape instead of laying flat

8. Pull tight over baby (here is where you put in the first pin if you are pinning)

9. Hold first tab in place while folding the other tab back and stretching upward to tighten just like you did with the first side

10. Fold second tab over baby, (insert second pin now if you are pinning) if using a snappi hold both tabs in place with one hand so you you can grab snappi

11. Hold snappi in place with thumb and flaps in place with fingers

12. Stretch snappi to opposite side with free hand and secure, then hold diaper tight
with one hand to free your other hand again

13. Pull bottom of snappi down to form a “Y” shape and secure

14. No gaps

Add an extra insert to any of your diapers to make them last a little longer or be a great nap or night time diaper.  Every baby wets differently, thats why we let you customize!!.  Inserts will be 3 layers of bamboo fleece serged and topstitched for durability.  Infants are 12×4 inches and Premiums are 15 inches x 4.5 inches with rounded edges.

If you order your inserts at the same time as your prefolds, they will come with the same knit print on top.  Making them a “matching set”!

The hip snapping Meg a Roo trainers have recently been redesigned for a slimmer less bulky fit in the front and around the legs. The trainers can be made with a waterproof pul outer or with a flannel or cotton knit outer.  If you choose a cotton knit or flannel outer the trainer will not be waterproof and you will get leaks if you don’t use a cover of some kind. All trainers come with a velour inner. You can choose from the vast assortment of fabrics available on my fabric gallery page!!

Trainers are made with 2 internal layers of flannel and 2 additional contoured layers sewn into the soaker zone.  Then an outer layer of fabric in your choice and a inner layer of velour for against the child. If you think you need a little extra protection for nights or naps, I can add a snap in 3-layer doubler made of bamboo fleece.  It will snap into the front and the back of the trainer so you don’t have to worry about it slipping around. These snap ins are made specially for the size trainer you are purchasing and are slimmer than the regular lay in doublers I offer.

Cloth Nursing pads are convenient and economical. Not to mention much cleaner for you and the environment. No more paper chemicals and flakey pads sticking to you.  Just toss them in the wash  and *poof* they are clean and ready to reuse!

Choose from a cute flannel print or opt for bamboo or cotton velour on top to make you feel extra soft and comfy.   My nursing pads are made in a flat style that has serged edges.  The are made with a topper layer of you choice, one  internal layer of bamboo fleece, and a backing layer of either pul or fleece. Facial Rounds are made with bamboo fleece on one side and soft velour on the other side.  The bamboo fleece is turned fuzzy side out to make it a good scrubbing/exfoliating side.  they are absorbant without using too much of your product.  And best of all when you run out you can just wash them up and reuse!!

Meg A Roo’s Overnighter’s are a  snappiable/pinable  fitted, made from the same pattern as regular Meg A Roo diapers.  But they are made with 3 layers of bamboo fleece for the body and an inner layer of your choice of material for against baby.  Some people choose to use microfleece for a stay dry feeling.  While others use a luxurious cotton or bamboo velour for the ultimate in softness.

Night fitteds also come with 3–4 layer soakers. All the soakers have 2 snaps on the wide end. This will allow you to interchange them in any layering you like.  2 long ones up front/1 short in back, 1long and short in back/1 long in back—you get the point.   This is a great option for belly sleepers so you can customize the absorbancy where they need it most.

The diaper and inserts are topstitched to prevent shifting and increase durability. They can be pinned or you can use a snappi. There is also an option for me to add a row of snaps to them, and the fleece on the outside can be turned either fuzzy or smooth side out, That’s up to you.

Meg A Roo’s diapers have recently undergone a complete ”overhaul” and the design has been updated, snaps settings moved and the pattern trimmed. They are designed using a pattern specially made by me and my babies.  They feature a full coverage bottom, wide sweeping front and curved tabs with waist and hip snaps placed in a diagonal pattern. This will give you a custom fit on both tummy and legs. The new design fits well on both skinny and large thighs and has ample stretch for a good fit.

Fitted Diapers are constructed with an outer layer of cotton knit, 1 interior layer of bamboo fleece with 2 additional layers in the soaker zone, and a topper layer against your baby. AIO’s are made the same way but with a PUL exterior.  The diaper also comes with a snap in petal style soaker.  The soaker is constructed of 2–  3 layer petals. Each petal is serged and topstitched.  They are 2 layers of bamboo fleece and 1 layer of velour or microfleece (whatever matches your diaper inner) on each petal.  These then snap together to allow you to customize for the absorbancy your baby needs. The soaker on the onesize diapers are done in a “snake” style and are long.  They fold over and snap in 2 places to allow for custom fit in each size of the snap down rise on the onesize diaper.  They are constructed of 2 layers of bamboo fleece and topped in a coordinating velour.  The snaps are all hidden for your baby’s comfort.

So you finally made it to potty training and you’re looking for an alternative to pricey pullups.  Look no further!! I have developed a pattern made to look like “big kid” boxer briefs with the added protection of a snap in soaker for your little potty trainer.  This hourglass shaped snap in soaker can be removed when the child has sucessfully trained so that you can continue to wear the undies for the remainder of the time they will fit.  This alleviates some of the headache and a great deal of the price.  You know that even if your child trains in 2 weeks you can still use the underwear.  AND they are reusable for future children!!  How great is that for the environment—and your wallet!!
